Dr. Rashidul Haque , an ex student and teacher of Rajshahi University , is now working as an Assistant Professor at Emory University , Atlanta , Georgia in the USA . He is a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology .
 In honour of Professior Dr. Rashidul Haque, Canadian Alumni Association of Rajshahi University ( CAARU) organized a grand reception on July 21 , 2010 at New Kabab House in Toronto. In the reception, Professor Haque described his achievement as a researcher in the opthalmology and at the end, he magnified everyone by singing old bengali songs.
